We have an exciting opportunity for Community Service Trainees, Disability Support Workers and Mental Health Support Workers to join our Early Links team in the Lower Hunter, Maitland and Kurri Kurri offices. We want to invest in our staffing team and work hard to offer career pathways for the right people!
We are offering full-time traineeships for a Certificate III or IV or Diploma level in Community Services over 12/24 months. If that doesn’t sound like the right fit, perhaps a qualification in Mental Health Support might be more in line with your interests.
You’ll be working alongside our experienced Educator and Allied health teams to gain exposure to the industry and set you on a pathway for a diverse and rewarding future career.
You don’t need any experience for this role! But you will need to be keen on a Community Services career.
In addition, you will be compassionate, enthusiastic, motivated, energetic and keen to learn. You will also have an interest in helping others and the ability to work well within a team.
What we can offer you
Early Links is an Early Intervention and Disability Inclusion Support Charity offering support for people of all ages with a disability in the Lower and Upper Hunter regions. But we’re so much more! An organisation passionate about supporting inclusion and independence for our clients. We are as passionate about looking after our staff as we are our clients and have a vibrant, energetic and caring culture as a result.
At Early Links, we have a large team of health, education and community services professionals who will support and guide you through your traineeship journey. You will have the opportunity to gain experience and exposure in a range of settings, supporting our community.
You will finish your traineeship not only with a qualification but valuable real-world experience to help you in your career.
