Occupational Therapy Week 2021
Participation – Inclusion – Independence
OT week is an opportunity to celebrate Occupational Therapists and educate the broader community on the value they provide. This year’s theme of participation, inclusion and independence celebrates the role Occupational Therapists play in supporting people of all abilities to engage in activities they find meaningful.
Our Occupational Therapy Team
We are proud to have a large, diverse and passionate Occupational Therapy team at Early Links. We love helping our clients (from birth upwards) achieve their goals to participate in play, learning or work activities and master everyday tasks and other necessary life skills. Other than practising the task itself, we might design activities to work on the base skills required – physical, cognitive, sensory, for example. Occupational Therapists are also great at modifying and adapting tasks to make them achievable.
Every session and day at work is very different for our team of over 20 Occupational Therapists. We are also proud to have 8 Allied Health Assistants who are studying to become Occupational Therapists!
