Return and Earn Charity Partnership
I am so excited to share that Early Links has been selected as a charity partner for the myTOMRA Return and Earn initiative. As you may be aware, most drink containers made from glass, plastic or aluminium are eligible for a 10c refund when taken to a Return and Earn location. From now until 16th October 2022, you will be able to donate this refund to Early Links at 14 locations throughout the Hunter.
Good for the environment, good for the community
This initiative is something I am really passionate about and so proud for Early Links to be part of. Return and Earn began in December 2017 with the goal of reducing litter in New South Wales by 40% by 2020. The initiative has been a huge success, with over 7 billion containers returned to date – that’s over 672, 000 tonnes of materials recycled! Return and Earn is not only a great approach to decreasing litter, it is also a fantastic way to educate people on the importance of recycling and support community fundraisers.
