In Home and Community Access Support
Early Links provides 1 to 1 support for people with funding in their Core support budget to help them get out and about in their communities, to follow their passions and build skills for everyday living. We can assist with:
- Assistance with daily life
- assistance with social and community participation
Sometimes specialised equipment will be needed to help someone join in the activities of everyday life. Early Links skilled therapists can help families trial, select, adjust and use equipment such as; Augmentative communication devices, special seating, standing frames, walkers and bath seats. We can assist with:
- Assistive technology
- Assessment and equipment prescription
At Early Links we support people to increase their skills for independence and to participate in their community. We provide flexible, person-centred supports to meet individual goals, working in partnership with you.
Our team consist of specialist professionals who are experienced in supporting people living with disabilities. Our team includes:
- Occupational Therapists
- Speech Pathologists
- Specialist Educators
- Social Workers/Family Workers
- Music Therapists
- Diversional Therapists
- Allied Health Assistants
Coordination of Supports (COS) and Specialists Coordination of Supports (SCOS) support people with an NDIS plan to connect and engage with service providers and other informal, mainstream, community and alternatively funded supports.
Early Links can support you to access different support services that will work best for you and maximise your choice and control.
Positive Behaviour Support
Early Links offers Positive Behaviour Support for people living with a disability or mental health concern. We can develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans and work with you to identify and understand behaviours of concern.
